Abstract

This article provides information about the life and work of the Italian physician and pedagogue Maria Montessori, a leading figure in reformist pedagogy in the early twentieth century. The article contains the description of some volumes of the great pedagogue, which can be found in the collections of the Scientific Library of „Alecu Russo” Balti State University.
