The pecularities of the development of Balti university library collection in 20 years of independence of the Republic of Moldova: 1991-2011

Abstract

The collections were and will always remain the essence of any libraries. The quality of the training, scientific research, depends on up-to-dateness and their size in a library, competitiveness depends of the education of future specialists trained for the culture and economy of Moldova. In this study is keeped of the evolution of Scientific Library collection of the State University „Alecu Russo” for 20 years, financial investments, donations, year report by type, genre and language of documents.
