Abstract

The article reviews the essential data related to the activity of ruler Ştefan the Great, the most legendary figure in the history of Moldova. His unchanging position as a defender of Christianity and Europe against the Turks and Islam is presented. The acts of courage and the wise ruling of the ruler over the whole of Moldavia, throughout his long reign, are highlighted.
