Abstract

In the opinion of some people, the development of information and communication technologies would influence the libraries existence negative. It is known, today, Internet content prevails and speed with which users find query. However, the information found in the Internet is not always reliable source versus printed in the library collections. Internet content prevails and speed with which users find query. It is very important in this context the role of the librarian who helps the users, while in the Internet he must fend for himself. The internet is not seen as a substitute for but a help which complement and facilitate library services. The Internet can't replace libraries.
