Faina Tlehuci would have turned 89 years old

Abstract

On February 23, the late Faina Tlehuci would have turned 89. The most important stage in Faina Tlehuci's life began in March 1962, when she accepted the invitation of the rector of the Pedagogical Institute for the position of director of the library of the "Alecu Russo" State Institute in Balti. Ambitious, full of fearless ideas, possessing deep knowledge in librarianship, training seminars abroad, Faina Tlehuci managed to build a true Temple of the Book. For 40 years, she gave her heart and thoughts to this library.
