About the Journal

The Confluenţe Bibliologice journal is an information tool, promoting the activity of the Scientific Library of the USARB, of the priorities:

• Intellectual training
• Publication of materials about professional successes and achievements
• News of library life
• Quality experiences

The journal presents important aspects of the activity of the Scientific Library, recording the main librarianship, scientific and cultural events through articles, essays, summaries, reviews, surveys, studies, interviews, etc.

It is a publication realized, for the most part, by the employees of the University Library, but also through the involvement of external collaborators: dr. Maria Şleahtiţchi, dr. habilitat Nicolae Enciu, dr. Anna Sofroni, Ludmila Corghenci, Vera Osoianu, dr. Natalia Cheradi, Preot Vasile Secrieru, etc.

It stands out for its broad openness to the values of the profession, for the "tendency of the librarians from "A. Russo" to transform their institution into a place of convergence of the most advanced Balti, national and international bibliological ideas, something that is in their power and they succeed" (Alexe Rău).
