The author tells about the church museums in Chisinau, Balti and Ismail, set up at the beginning of the 20th century and worked until June 28, 1940, when the Soviet troops ravaged buildings and distroyed more exhibited units. Reopening of the Church Museum in Chisinau took place on November 1, 1942, within the Abolition of Slavery Exhibition, and by the end of the war, in 1944, the Museum heritage was evacuated in town Plopşor, not far from Craiova. The fate of museums in Balti and Ismail remains unknown in the absence of documents. Archbishop Seraphim, Joseph M. Parhomovici, Bishop Visarion Puiu had played a great part in supporting the museums church.
